Can anyone please advise on tire size for a 1971 Dodge Challenger Rt? Currently have Hoosier pro street size 29 12.50 15 on the rear with 15 by10 magnum 500 wheels? And 28 9.50 15 on 15 by 8 wheels on the front. Has anyone used B.F.Goodrich or Cooper Cobra size 295 50 15 on rear and size 245 60 15 on the front. Hoosiers are around 500 bucks a each. Can anyone post a picture if they have this setup? Or, recommend another brand tire that would fit?

BFG is Junk , I would use Cooper , I have a 245 60 in front & bent the fender lip .
295 60 is too tall , 295 50 looks great but is a tight fit unless you have the B body diff width & springs offset inward

What is so funny , I have had brand new BFG go bad in less than 100 miles , I have seen them with 1/4" step in the tread new so the fenders dance from the vibration , I have seen broken belts & belts shifted sideways . take out a fender or 1/4 & the cost will be crazy .
I wouldn't put BFG on a lawnmower !!

I had 295/50's on my Challenger with no mods, no rubbing and stock suspension. The same wheels and tires are now on my Charger.
I have since mini-tubbed and moved my leafs inboard on the Challenger for larger tires.
