Torsion bars for 392 in 74 challenger

Should you use big block or small block torsion bars when using 392 srt hemi and old 4 speed transmission? All help appreciated Thanks

Since the weight is close, you can use the same torsion bar.
But you will probably want to beef up the suspension and brakes to take advantage of the HP boost to be safe.

The cars were originally under sprung by todays standards so I would use .92 or .96 bars at least

I have a 6.1 so same as yours and i run 1.03 bars rides great . I wouldn’t go any higher then that for the street though
