What Temperature Thermostat

Hello. What temperature Thermostat should I run in my 340 ?

I put a 195 in mine. Just did it today and drove around awhile seems to work real good. I got the car and they took it out. Car seems to be running better with a thermostat in it. 72 challenger 383.

180 is the ticket but make sure that you use a high quality thermostat that has a large enough bypass hole in it in case it ever sticks closed on you. Does not happen very often, but believe me one time is too many.

I like Stant , seem to be better quality than most Chinese made stuff & I agree with 180*

I am running a 180°F Thermostat also.... 195...is a Little high ( in my opinion )

I run a 195 in my 340. As long as the cooling system and the tune is in good shape, the 195 should not be a problem.

i agree with the 180, a little cooler is better. i think a 195 is good when you want more from your heater in the winter.
