What to use inside of the trunk

Hi.
Wonder if someone can tell me What to use inside my rear fenders/trunk.
IT looks on several pics thats a silencer type of stuff.

First off - Welcome to FEBO from NW CT. Is that a photo of your car? The thick sound deadener you see on the inside of the left quarter panel is correct from the assembly line. There are products available to emulate that thick sound deadener. Trunk floor stays like you see it and has a mat that covers it. Lots of crappy repops of the trunk mat so try to find a good quality one. I'm still looking myself. That's the product I was thinking of actually. I have not used this product but I have used other products of his. Rick's stuff is of high quality and he has been very helpful to me in answering restoration questions.
