'70 HP383 stock exhaust manifolds. Eldebrock Performer Intake. 4 speed

Want to stick with Eldebrock so that fuel and throttle hook up with no changes. Which of these carbs will work without rejetting or changing metering rods. If possible.

750 Performer #1411
800 Performer #1413

800 Thunder AVS #1813

There is no 750 AVS.

The AVS carb is the best of the bunch. Don't worry about the cfm rating. It will only pull as much air as you ask it to. Best transition from primaries to secondaries with the adjustable air valve

1406 is all you need. I didn't like how the 1411 performed on the 440 in my Imperial. No matter what I did I couldn't get it tuned in very well. I started doing some surfing about the 1411 and the general consences is that its garbage. I'm not convinced that that's the truth but I went for the 1406 as was suggested and it is a better carb right out of the box. Your 383 don't need 750 CFM if my fresh 440 doesn't. I get better throttle response from the 600. I replaced an old incorrect AVS as well and figured stick with it for ease of installation but I've had moments when I wished I would have gone with a Holley. Whichever AVS you buy, take the top off, remove the squirters and discard the square brass weight on top of the ball bearing before you install it on your car. These carbs are known to stumble in the off idle transition and this is one of the cures for that.

I currently have the 1806 AVS 650 but there's a flat spot right before the secondaries open which I felt was because it wasn't big enough.

tighten the rear air door a little the secondary is puuling air without the aid of an addition pump squirt so it is opening too early .

The 1813 is by far the best choice as Leo pointed out
