Which undercoating did you use?

I am needing to re-undercoat my car. Which products do you recommend?

Are you painting over old paint ,Metal,has it been sprayed with Etch primer

It is sprayed with etch primer. Some spots still have some old original undercoating.

Some products stay soft, some hard. Usually the hard ones are considered paintable, fyi.

The stuff from Restorick ain't cheap but it goes on just as ugly as the factory stuff. Restorations by Rick Kreuziger

I tried some 3m rubberized undercoating, and couldn’t believe the moisture it trapped.
Stripped it all off, used some textured bed liner coating, from Rustloleum that on a properly prepped surface has amazing adhesion and can be painted.

I have used Raptor bed liner. It dries hard and is paintable or tintable. I’ve used it as undercoating and bed liner. Good stuff.
