My wipers on my two speed wiper motor does not park correctly. I read many of the posts and watched the Chrysler master tech video. I grounded the L terminal and put power to the P1 terminal. The wipers go to the park position. The jumper wire got pretty hot from the momentary contact to the terminals. I also grounded the ground stap of the motor, directly to the battery. My question, do I replace the motor or is there something in the motor that can be repaired? Thanks

The switch and the switch frame also needs a good ground. Try running a temp jumper from metal switch body to ground
Both the switch and the ground strap of the motor were grounded to the battery. My understanding and experience, the wipers will not operate if the switch isn't grounded. Thanks.
