I have a 2 spd wiper motor/switch and I want to change to a 3 spd wiper motor/switch. Do I need to change anything such as wiper motor transmission or anything else? I want to change to a 3 spd. W/Windshield Washer Switch. and 3 spd motor. If anybody has them for sale let me know.

This should get you going, enlarge or download the Parts Book picture.
I don't currently have the part numbers for nut or washers.

As EW1BH27 has indicated, besides the wiper motor, the crank arm is different where it connects to the motor. Also the wiper switch inside the dash is obviously different. Consider posting a WTB ad for the parts you need.

Oh, for some dumb reason I read that he HAD the switch, my bad. Xcudame is right, you’ll need 2770380 variable speed wiper switch to be correct for a 70/71 conversion.

Maybe I should have asked what year you’re working on. If it’s 1972 and up all the part numbers change, same basic setup though.

For a conversion on a 1970-1971 E-Body or a 1971 B-Body from a 2-spd to a 3 or variable spd motor, you will have to replace the wiper motor crank with part #2822289, also the link from the motor to the drivers side pivot with part #2822293 (1970) or 3431102 (1971). Note the part #s are stamped in these parts. The 1970 link will work on the 1971 and vice versa.

Parts List:
Motor: 3431077
Crank: 2822289
Switch: 2770380
Link: 2822293 or 3431102
