Wiper Motor

I have a prostreet 73 Cuda. The previous owner told me the wiper motor stopped working, but he didn't care because he did not drive in the rain. I don't plan on driving it in the rain, but have been caught with previous cars and I want to replace it. Aftermarket is good with me, there is nothing really original about my car anyway. My question is, is there an aftermarket company trustworthy enough to buy a wiper motor from? Has anyone had bad experiences, like a new motor not working because of a defect, not fitting, that I should avoid? Does anyone know someone who rebuilds originals, and is it cost effective?
