I have owned my Challenger since 73. It was a Avis rental. 318 with 904 auto. Put headers on at 20,000. Shift kit @ 25000. Cam 280, 60, 460 at 50000. It has sat with 150000 mi since 1990.
Recently retired and have started restoration. Want to up the compression to the low 9's, and install EFI. Looking for thoughts on what heads to use.

Is your Challenger Petty Blue? I always wondered what happened to it. I'm from Adams, and used to drive through Panama once in awhile. Send me a PM if you would like.

Welcome to the site from Michigan!
Cool story from the Nebraskan's. First I have heard of a Challenger rental car being restored:thumbsup:

:welcome: aboard. My 72 was Petty blue with a white vinyl top. Standard gauge, blue bucket interior with Slap-Stik console. 318 2bbl. Electronic ignition, A/t, a/c, p/d/b, p/s, road wheels ( Magnum type). Kept her until 2 years ago to payoff debts so my wife could retire. Had her for 41 years.
