My ebody love started in 1970....10 year old boy walking by the Chrysler dealership. Seeing the plum crazy cuda with the bubble hood I was in love. Fast forward 10 years Im a proud owner of a 1970 FC7 Hemicuda 4spd Dana 60 11 drum brakes radio delete white interior with white hockey stick stripe. The lasted 16 months before it was stolen and never seen again. Now 41 years later I tried to buy another Hemicuda and no luck . So I built one. 2020 Challenger Hellcat is now a 1970 Plum crazy cuda 6.2 stoked to 426 c.i. One of the last M6 cars You are all going to love this car. Pics coming soon Hell Cuda is almost done!

Not many people have owned a hemi cuda. You were fortunate to be one of them. Hell, I have never ridden in a hemi car.

Here a sneak peek of what’s to come
This build is insane. I’m trying to keep it true outside with all the 2020 creature features of New car. This is what Mopar should have done. Cheers

So is your car Cuda sheetmetal over a new Challenger frame?
Hi. Yes the challenger chassis is there. All sheet metal around car except trunk ,hood and roof. So in all intense purposes it’s a red eye hellcat in Cuda clothes the motor was stroked to 426c.i. 11:-1 compression 651. Lift Cam 285 overdrive pulley ATI crank pulley. 1inch supercharger spacer
Power chiller. Dyno pills were (no juice ) 1045 rwhp
93 octane 1114rwhp on race gas. 300 hp nitrous controller added but not tested Mantic triple disk clutch custom made 20 x11 front mopar rally 20x15 rear rally’s
Katzskin pearl interior.
We are going all the way.

Welcome to FEBO.
Have any pictures of the 70 CUDA?
I too had a vanishing point of a T/A. I'm keeping a 3rd eye and ear out for it. Kind of know what happened to it.have to prove it. I would think cars of that caliber will resurface some day.Even the value of the parts keep going up. I figured out to keep a theft distraction around it.

Thanks for the kudos. The car is an amazing. That they are 50 years apart and still almost totally match line per line.
The 15 rally’s look really good under the rear end.

This is the only pic. Pic of a pic. The ex thru all of the pics out. Was not happy.
The scorn of women. Anyway. I only had 2 pi’s of the car before it disappeared. I went away fishing on a Saturday in March of 82 came home to my street to find all my winter beaters pulled out on the street and the Cuda was gone. I had the car on Jack stands with th drums bagged. The 15 cragar S/S were in my kitchen. (Great for a beer empty storage lol ) the buggers must have brought wheels/nuts installed them and lowered car without waking up my Hunter / pit bull neighbours. Neighbours thought I was shifting beaters around. So no one saw anything. The cops did say that there was a unplated purple car that was on a flat bed truck that crossed into Michigan on the early hours of Sunday night. No proof of any kind to confirm so. I had to except the fact she was gone. Insurance paid me 4200 dollars for the car. That was my forever car. Oddly I have never seen one until 3 months ago a real FC7 4spd hemi was in some guys yard in Maine. Very close to mine but not it.
I had the vin checked. So I build my own.

I Think you would rater have the first one back and have both. You come to terms and it's an inspiration for your project. I'm talking about the CUDA not the EX. Keep us posted.📷
