Any here? It's that time of year when teams are buyers or sellers.
Unfortunately I think my home team, Phillies, will be buyers.

Anyone else?

Well your team is in a tough division. At least they have a winning record.

That's one thing I can say.

Hell, I always told Sarah I could care less if they lose every game as long as they win the 18-19 against Boston.

Miguel Cabrera is a hitting machine, 30 HRs, 95 RBIs and a 365 average at the all star break? He's doing substantially better then this time last year and he won the triple crown for those efforts.

The big A here since they sign my checks :happy3:

Phillies all day long!
I think they will be buyers.
But 95% of me feels that they wont buy this year. They will wait till the year is over and see what will play out.!

After this year they will have as much money as any team in baseball due to the new TV deal.

Not just Cabrera, but it's a well assembled team over all.

Kinda what it felt like around here the last few years.

Enjoy the ride.

Exactly. I can't remember ever being more excited about baseball and being a Yankees fan than in '98. The rest world was concentrating on Maquire and Sosa going after the home run record and we were enjoying watching a team slice through the league with an overall record of 125-50. Maybe one the greatest teams to ever take the field.

So when your team is that the top of the world, sit back and enjoy!

Yep because sometimes they fall to earth with a sudden crash.

Yeah Man!
I wasn't watching but it sounded pretty rediculous that Cabrera and Leland got thrown out today. Bad pitches from what the radio broadcasters were saying.

Looks like perhaps you and St Loius in the series.
