1973 challenger Throttle cable / pedal assembly

Hey folks, thanks for taking the time to check out this post. I'm having a little trouble getting any good diagrams / pictures of the retaining clip and throttle cable assembly on my challenger. Specifically where the cable attaches to the pedal assembly and the retention clip. My service manuel is pretty vague. Any photos would be a huge help. Thanks-

Here's a photo of my original 1970 pedal. Whatever you have in your hand in the photo doesn't look like the proper retaining plug. Cable goes through first, then snap the plug in the hole. Hope this helps...
