I forgot to include this in my previous post. Do the tail panel brackets go on the outside of the tail panel as in the pic ...or so they go on the inside of the panel?

70 barracuda tail panel...here is a video of it clamped in place. Should it set flush with the rear quarter or be set in some as in the video?
I have a 73 parts car and the tail panel on it is flush at the top and the bottom is set in about a half an inch.
.
I am wanting to do a side fill conversion on my frankencuda and I am looking for the gas cap sheet metal from the quarter panel . Does anyone have a junk quarter they can cut that portion off of and ship?
Thanks
I need a factory lower left door hinge. I purchased an aftermarket hinge and my door now sets out too far...even after adjusting. I don't believe the cheap chinese hinges are accurate. Let me know if you have one. Thanks!
I am installing my door today. I replaced the bushings in the hinges and the striker is new. I have the door and striker adjusted about where I want them but the door doesn't fully latch when I close it. It's just a shell no molding trim or glass. Here is a vid of it
I have two cars..both are 73's. One of them I am installing a 71 tail panel and bumper in and I have a question. On the 73's there is a urethane trim panel that fits up under the rear quarter corners, and across the top of the rear bumper, covering that spot between the bottom of the tail...
I am looking for front and rear torque boxes. American car body is on back order on almost all of their products. Does anyone have a set laying around they didn't use?
Does anyone have any pictures of a Dana 60 housing with the pinion snubber removed? I would like to see what the snubber mounts look like.
There was an old thread on moparts, but it's dead now.or at least the link is.
Thanks!
Like the title says, looking for a good used barracuda back glass. I am in Indiana, and I am willing to travel a bit to pick one up. I have a challenger rear glass I would be willing to trade also.
I have a Dana 60 HD housing, and a trac lock, 30 spline, and I would like to narrow it for my barracuda. Originally it came from a 3/4 or 1 ton pickup.
I know it has to be offset side to side.
I know its a little heavier than the regular Dana 60.
I read of another person on another site...
As I was disassembling my 833 today I noticed the front 307 bearing fits the case pretty loosely. I dont believe this is normal as it is going to "spin" in the bearing bore, and it will allow abnormal wear if I leave it as is. I dont have another case. I was thinking about boring it out and...
I have a new in box 1973 barracuda tail panel I would like to trade for a 1970/71 tail panel, in the same condition. I realize its a long shot, but I thought I would ask. i am going to the mopar swap meet at Indianapolis next weekend as well.
My car is a basket case project car. The trans that came with it is a 727, rebuilt back to stock form, no modifications or performance enhancements.
And it has no converter with it period.
I do not plan to race it.
It has a mildly built 440, crane hydraulic cam , no crazy lift on it, 10:1...

I have a set of new 73 rear quarters and I need to have have the 70/71 side marker lights. Does anyone have a set of bad 70/71 quarters that have the light cutout intact? If it was just good one inch or so all the way around the cutout that would be perfect. Then I could cut mine out...
I am looking for a front windshield and rear glass for my 1973 project. I have a rear glass from a challenger for trade also. Let me know where you are and how much. I live in Indiana, and I dont mind driving 5 or 6 hours to pick up. Thanks!
The tail panel and rear trunk pans were in the process of being replaced when I picked up my car, but unfortunately the guy did a massive hack job, and I just dont think I have everything to put it back together with. He butchered the tail panel so I have to get another one, even though its...
Hello, I have a couple E bodies. One is a 1973 plain jane barracuda. Its just a hot rod in process...zero numbers matching and no original parts. The other is a 1973 'cuda, all number matching car. I am off to post my first question.
