For what it's worth I paid $2300 for a rebuilt 340 that had the heads mounted but with no lifters, rockers or pushrods. It came with the lifters and a brand new intake but I had the purchase the rockers and pushrods. I got a good deal because the seller was motivated to sell. I was also looking for 340's that needed to be rebuilt and the price seemed to be between $800 - $1,000. If your motor is stamped as a 67 that means it was in a 68 vehicle so someone wanting a date correct 340 (68 was the first year the 340 was offered) may pay more. Good luck with the sale!

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! What condition are the bores, currently standard pistons?

Std bore, forged crank. With no history or running condition the core value would be $400-600 to me.

Much easier to determine value with photos. Would you buy something without seeing what you bought until after you paid for it ? I think not. So How about a few pictures?
Thanks
