I have noticed that most 1971 'Cuda 340 K frame's I research on the internet have the sway bar going through the K frame and mine doesn't look like that at all. It looks like some drilled through the K and bolted the sway bar to it. After searching the internet it looks like my car has an earlier B body style K frame. Can anybody confirm what I have. Thank you. If its wrong is the sway bar correct or do I need that too ?

Here is a pic of my k frame on my 71 Barracuda. I put in aftermarket sway bar, but the brackets bolted in the same place as the original. They are closer to the bend of the sway bar, which would make more sense. Also, the sway bar does go through the k-frame.

Agree with rklein71. You need an e-body k-frame. But your sway bar and brackets are e-body correct.
