What is the best place to sell my husbands 1971 Dodge Challenger convertible? He has been on this site for years and recently passed away. I don't live near any of the big auction sites. Any help would be appreciated.

Lots of pictures are needed for that site. You can set a reserve, so it doesn't sell for too low. Some have the option to pay a $400 fee to have someone come out and take all the necessary photos, and help describe the car, and build up the description used in the online listing.

If it fails to sell at your reserve price, you can then use those pictures and description to attempt a sale/auction on ebay.com

Very sorry to hear about his passing. I always appreciated his posts and he was very helpful to me with a few questions over the years. I know of two people in my close group of friends who will be very interested in Terry’s car. I will send a PM with additional info.

It is sad to hear of Terry's passing. Our ages are catching up with alot of us, and we always hope to have more time, time to finish or enjoy our passions.
Terry did get many years in with his unique and rare convertible.

My sincerest condolences on your loss. I didn't know Terry but I read the obituary. Terry seemed like a wonderful guy. I wish I could have met him. I was going to suggest that maybe one of his freinds would be interested in the car but that was already suggested. Good luck with the sale.

He was and is here, walking amoung us keeping things on the run. I know he was here not just for the fun. Remember Terry and what he has done. The mopar gods took him before we were done having fun.

In my opinion it think you can get good to fair evaluattion from the members here. If you can post documentation and pictures here on this thread. I would trust the members to give fair evaluation. That would at the least give an Idea where to start.

There are a number of places to list it for sale. Bring a trailer, Ebay but they charge a unexpecteble fee as far as I'm concerned. But here it is free.

My apologies for a belated condolences. My sister a few years younger then I past away about the same time. In short she was stationed at camp Lejeune in the 80's and Okinawa.My 90 year old mother is of corse taking it very hard. An old friend came in from Tilaind to comfort here. Sorry this not about me.
