has anyone used this unit from Jegs and do you use just their ecu unit? I see pics where the new ecu and old ecu both installed in the engine bay. I would like to know befor I modify the new year one wiring harness. thanks in advance for the help

Is this a Mallory? MSD? Jegs version of the Mopar orange box? You are not giving enough information. Do you have a link?

It is the Jegs version of the orange box and the wiring supplied in the kit was from the ecu to distributor and directions to splce a keyed power source.

I have only used the Mopar unit. You could see what Jegs warrenty is.

can you tell me why i see people using both boxes ( stock ecu and orange mopar performance) I will start with just that question. thanks for the help I do appreciate it...take care

The orange box is supposed to give you a hotter more consistent spark over the stock box.
