the variable wiper motor in my '70 challenger will no longer "park" in the correct postition. i have been informed by my electrician i either need a new motor or to get this one repaired.
any recommendations for who sells new/resto motors or best place for repairs.
i am located in australia so postage will be steep on this i feel.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

when you turn the switch off it doesnt park at all. the blades just stop whatever position they are in when the switch is turned off.

Do not go near this guy , promised me 10 weeks , 10 months later after 100s of Emails it finally showed up , no discount or explanation offered .

Contact Kim at Passion 4 Mopars , she does the work as well & is far nicer to deal with http://www.passion4mopars.com/

the park switch is usually what fails first , usually an easy repair , the wiper can get hung up on the chrome trim at the bottom of the windshield so the switch stays on .

Thanks Chryco!

If this is Scott, I think I have you covered, check your email. I forwarded the photos of the proper position for the contacts on the reverse of switch plate/gear housing cover and the FSM page for clock position when you put it back together :angel3:
