What happened to the rear shock access holes on the trunk pan? Did you fill them in or weren't the holes punched in the new pan? Are you going to punch the holes and install the plugs?

The car's looking pretty good. The passengers side splash shield should be installed from the engine compartment though.(the opposite of how the drivers side gets installed) Also, the steering boxes were painted black and not left natural. There are a few other little things but the owner may not care about it looking 100% stock.

Keep posting those pictures.

This cuda should have been a maytag in 1980 but it is a car again. Maybe not the best but it is a nice car. The car will have a two 4 440 lets not worry about the small stuff. We have saved another and it will be a nice one

We're always interested in car ****! Start a thread in the general section and let's see some of your other work.

As far as getting to know everyone; pull up a chair and introduce yourself to everyone. You're one of the best guys we have on FABO (at least in my opinion) and you're builds are fun to watch and keep track of.

sorry, I was looking at some of your earlier pages with the metalworking. I was curious what you used to grind down your welds.

When I first read your reply I thought you were messing with me until I got to the stainless part!

greg is doing ALL the welds on this car. i'm doing some grinding here and there, but that is the deal. don't put too much weld on that it takes 2 weeks to grind out. get a good weld and quit when you have enough to smoothe it off with the least amount of effort. we use air and electric grinders. we have it pretty much down to the heaviest blade is 3/16". but we get lots more practice at it. and that is pretty much it. BTW i thought you were talking about the bright work, oops, my bad.

I think the finish on the inside of the fenders is as good as the finish on the outside of mine!
