72 cuda grille insert color

Hey folks,Ihave a 72 cuda that i have redone the front grille to the original argent color.Does anyone know the color name of the red/orange that the outside of the insert is ??? I have heard that chevy hugger orange is close but.......chevy......no thanks ! If anyone has a clue,ALL replies would be GREATLY APPRECIATED !! Thanks alot !!! wiredgeorgia

I always believed and mentioned somewhere it was a blood orange.

I used hemi orange rattle can for insert and dupicolor textured charcoal metallic for the grille

Thanks bud !! Hemi Orange it is !! spayed the rest with argent from classic industries ! looks good....just needs that extra POP !!! Certainly appreciate the comeback !!! Happy New Year to you and yours !!!

It's a little late since you've already painted it but my 72 has the inserts painted red. If you look at Photo Garage under Black Pearl 72 Cuda ( Page 3 ) there are a couple of shots of the grille.
