Here are a few pictures of my 72 Cuda project. I bought it 30 years ago as a six cylinder automatic and began tearing it down as soon as I got it home. I stripped it down completely and converted it to a 440 4-speed and began doing the body work. I soon discovered I don't like doing body work so it sat in the garage for a number of years.

Earlier this year I decided to take it to a body man so I can finish the restoration and get it back on the road where it belongs. Since it was a 6 cylinder car I am not worried about making it back factory stock but into the car I want. The trunk was gone and in the process of replacing it I changed the tail light panel to the 1970 style, which I like better than the round lights of the 72-74 cars. I also put sub frame connectors in to help with the horsepower upgrade. It is now back from the body shop and looks amazing in the plum crazy paint.

While it was in the body shop I decided to put a hemi in it instead of the 440 I had previously installed. I recently found a hemi k-member and todays project is to sandblast it and get it primed and painted. I have started researching hemi engines specifications and believe I will build up a 572 engine with electronic fuel injection. I plan on keeping the rally hood and believe it will fit with the research I have done. Lets hope.

I got the hemi k-member sandblasted and ready for primer as soon as it warms up today.
