73 barracuda upper and lower front grill assembly diagram needed.

But you have a '73...

The lower plastic grille, valance, whatever you call it is different.
'70 one year only. Metal valance no holes for lights
'71 one year only. Metal valance has holes for lights and the opening is different
'72-74 same plastic piece. Metal valance no holes for lights; I believe it is the same as the '70 version.

Not sure how the MegaParts listing can then be for both a '70 and '71
This is what I purchased. I guess I will have to see. I'm assuming the plastic pieces just snap in and screws are self-explanatory for each end of the insert, still kind of puzzling LOL

Working on my 71 grill now. The hardware they sent makes no sense. Seems to have extra hardware for a different year grill?

I am kind of in the same boat at the moment.. Hopefully , someone can clear it up for you.... It turns out that I have a grill.Installation kit... And a separate valance insert installation kit.. That is needed for my 73...

I figured out the valance filler on the 71. The reproduction piece fit great. The grill is another story soon to be told. Finished painting, getting ready to install the 20 pieces that go on it. Hopefully installation on the front goes well.

I think the 1972 Plymouth Chrysler Imperial Body Service Manual is needed until someones detailed pictures are provided.

I do not have a copy of this manual but would like one. I searched for a free PDF and have not found one.

I have a PDF of the '70 combined body and chassis manual and a PDF's of the '71 body manual, '71 chassis manual, and '72 chassis manual. The body manuals provide some details for the '70 and '71 grill mounting.
I tried searching through the free pbf manuals as well online. With no luck.

Lol i guess the mystery continues this picture was.\nSent showing that they use bolts.. And was mentioned that that they never would thought plastic clips like that would have been used..soon i am still confused lol

I also found this... I guess it doesn't really matter as long as it works and it doesn't compromise the grill.. Just trying to figure out what the factory did l o l

They sent those plastic clips with the 71. Have went through every part on this car. No plastic clips except for stainless trim. It is possible they used plastic clips for the grill. The grill is plastic.
