73 cuda bumper install " what did I do wrong"

So I replaced my bumper with a reproduction bumper and the heavy metal piece under the bumper is partialy exposed now any ideas? I have attached a photo.

I can't tell what I'm looking at.
How do the bumper ends match up the fenders?
Maybe you can loosen the brackets and pull the whole thing in.
 
i see a big gap in the middle .need to see the sides also and the height . there are adjustments loosen the frame to bracket bolts
 
Years ago there were some aftermarket bumpers being sold that had too much of a bend in them which left a big gap in the center of the bumper similar to what you show in your pic. I don't remember who was selling these bumpers and I don't know if this is still an issue with aftermarket bumpers.
