Must be wonderful to own a low mileage original.
Car looks to be the twin of my A66 vert!

Please tell me what all the information I provided to you tells you about my car. I have never been about the numbers guy so I never investigated it any further.

Overall, it was an interesting A66 car for the $8k price. In the absence of a tag or build sheet; just looking at the posted pics, the car had a matching numbers engine, the original interior was the cloth/vinyl mix of H5KU, non-power drum brakes, a standard dash with 2sp wipers and was a PS , automatic car (originally). The exterior looks to be FK5 with the orange bumble stripe (cool combination in itself) We could also guestimate the serial number off the OB171836 stamping on the original block.
Looking forward to seeing this car pop up somewhere in the restoration process.

These pics(top 3) are from the early to mid ‘80s when a friend owned this car. He ended up selling it to another guy I know locally who restored it to the way you see it in the last pic.
He no longer has it either although I’m sure it still exists and btw I knew neither of these guys back then as I am a solid 10 years younger.

I have seen that car locally before and have been to his house to buy parts for my Challengers over the years. If I remember correctly it was in the Fraser area. Or, it was a car that looked real similar.

Thank you for posting. The car has been added to the A66 Registry.
Interesting car; with the FK5 paint with the white bumble stripe and white vinyl top. The hand written options list was helpful; allowed me to add some of the options onto the data bank.

It was sold to Brighton or Milford area after it was restored back around ‘84.

Matt, did you have to used the word "solid"? Makes me feel old. I have more pics of this car, I can scan them all and upload them somewhere, just let me know. I used to have a repro window sticker too if I can find it.
