Ok, Yesterday I was replacing old broken hoses on my car and I had a heater door hose or vent door hose that I removed without seeing where it came out of the fire wall. So when I looked there is a square plastic grommet on the fire wall coming from the back of the AC/Heater box. In the past when I turned the heater on you could hear the door close but now that I removed the hose to replace it the door does not open or close anymore. Problem is how do I get the hose into that tiny hole in the plastic piece or do I have to pull out the dash to get to the back of the box to install a new hose. I think I should have thought about that before I pulled it off.

you could remove the glove box and see if you can get to it then
No. I actually figured it out. On the fire wall it looks like this big square with a whole in the center. Then yesterday I pulled the carpet down in the general area and there was a hose going to the AC box. It was a normal grommet so I pulled the hose and it broke just like the one on the firewall. Then it dawned on me. Its the same grommet only it looks different in the engine bay, not white. So I took out my drill and a 1/4 bit and drilled the whole out. Added some silicone to the new hose and used a needle nose plyers to push it thru the hole. I now have a new hose from the intake port to the heater box door so that the door opens and closes whenever I push the heater button. Thanks.
