Ac vent removal??

Trying to take out my ac vents out of my 72 challenger. Do I need to pull the dash? I see the screws on the back side of the center vent but can't get to them and no idea on the right side vent. Thanks!

You can get to the far right one by pulling the glovebox liner. You can get to the middle ones by having the heater box/ evaporator out. You can also get to them with the instrument cluster out. You can go the pull the pad route or you can pull the whole dash. I would take the instrument cluster and glove box liner out to do them. I don't know if your a/c is charged or not. That will make a difference on how you get to them. When you put them back in don't tighten the screws real tight. If you do, the vents will crack around the edges. Sometimes this can happen weeks after you install them.
