I want to change the battery in my 70 Challenger 340 is the correct battery group 24 or group 27

I use a 65 Battery in my 71 Hemi Cuda, it had the highest CCA rating. I also made one fit in my 74 Duster.

I wanna put a battery cover on it with the yellow caps but not sure if a 24 or 27 is correct I think its a 24 but Costco says its a 27

Do you have your broadcast sheet? Group 24 would be standard on the 340 but Group 27 was an option. BS would tell

Consider a Walmart Everstart battery in group 24 or Group 27. They are about $150 plus fee, core charge, tax, etc. gets you to almost $195.
Peel off all of the labels and pop off the two plastic "caps".

Use the Weskcar Deluxe Push-In Caps Kit in Yellow for about $37 with shipping. The results are very good. I run the Group 27 (810 CCA) for my 440 with the Weskcar RED caps and embossed plates. The plates look to be 3D printed.
Comparison of this setup versus a repro battery below.
