Dash Paint

I can get a good deal on new dash pad for my 70 challenger the problem is its black and i need burnt orange, how good is interior paint for something like that?

Not good at all. You need a special vinyl die. There is a product called SEM that works about the best. Here is the link:

Thanks moparleo, the last time I painted some soft parts I had mixed results not sure if it was the prep or if i choose the wrong products. another question for ya, whats the difference between a 70 and 72 dash pad? I noticed that the 70 pad is listed with a different part# then the other years on some of the venders sites

The 1970 Challenger and Barracuda have the names in 3-d script where as the 1971 and up use an adhesive backed name plate.
