I am debating whether I should run my car with the original distributor or convert it to electric for a 1970 Challenger. Possible the first question is pros and cons of that conversion.

If one was to go with the electric ignition conversion, what are some good options to mount the extra controller box, any hidden options? TIA

I put a Pertronix in my 70 Swinger. Been in there for years. Just the simple version not the 2 or 3 models. Simple and effective.

I converted my ‘70 Challenger years ago using the kit from Mopar Performance. I wanted it hidden so I mounted the ECU under the dash and ran the wiring through the grommet for the windshield washer tubing. Some guys mount the unit under the battery tray.

if you want the car completely original that might be a concern, otherwise i don't know any (but others have way more experience than I and might have some)... I've used the mopar conversion kits and gone to MSD systems and never had any problems or regrets

I suggest going original ,Mancini has kits , Rev-n-ator has the best ECU ,If stranded at least parts stores carry parts .
Not a fan of MSD , too many problems .
