Front Shaft On 4 Speed

Is the front shaft on a 1968-69 Roadronner 4 speed 23 spline, the same as the one on my 1973 4 speed in a Cuda 340. Someone cut the end of the shaft, Is the side shifter mount the same.

The first pictures are the Roadrunner 4 speed & the last picture is the 1973 Cuda 340 -4 speed

just taper the front of the shaft & use the Dakota roller brg .
the shifter pad is different & in a different location between B & E body
