I found this GT for sale in Virginia in 2020. It was a retired school teachers and had been sitting behind her house since 1984. No kid ever got ahold of it. It was never hacked up or hot rodded etc. it was the most complete and unmolested car I’ve seen. It was however sunbaked badly. The trunk seal was shot and trunk filled with water and rusted spare tire well and gas tank out.

273/904
Buckets/console
Green on green on green

New fuel system from filler neck to carb. All new brake parts from master cylinder to each wheel.

Getting it mechanically sound then I’ll work on making her pretty.

Got it on the road in July 2022.

Sorry so long winded! Thanks for having me.

Nice! Good job on getting it running. Looks like you got the trunk and gas tank fixed! (By the way, that's one of the worst gas tanks I've seen.) Rest of the body doesn't need more than a couple dents fixed and a little rust repair. Thank you for sharing your car.
