Hi there, new to the site although I've been on the A body site for a long time. I don't have a Challenger although I sure wish I did. I've had a 1970 340 Dart since 1977 and rebuilt/maintained it myself, used to drag race it until about '82, now it's kind of a family heirloom. I won't say it will never hapen, but would love to have a Challenger. My fav is the 1970 T/A but couldn't afford them way back when they were inexpensive, now the best I could probably do is a V8 if I found one that needed a lot of work. So I will listen and learn and who knows, maybe one day I'll find one!

Thanks folks! Appreciate the warm welcome. I keep looking, you never know what will show up. Missed a383 4spd about 15 yrs ago- a friend had it and was moving. It was apart but all there, just didn’t have the cash at the time.

My Dart runs a 340 that I built in 1977 with a Racer Brown ST21 cam, six pack setup, headers, all the usual stuff, 3.91 gear and yep 26” tires. Just started CNC machining billet air cleaners for the six pack carbs. Hope it’s ok to post a pic of an A body.

I like the small blocks but a 383 or 440 would be awesome too if I find an E body!

Thanks guys! I looked at a Challenger a while ago and noticed the steering wheel was low enough it almost touched my legs once I was in it. I hit my right leg getting in. Was there something wrong with that one or are all the wheels that close to the seat??

Seat looked correct height- actually looked like the same as in my '70 Dart. Sat the same too. Just a low steering wheel. I'm thinking maybe the column wasn't bolted correctly at the firewall. Sounds like I should plan on a low wheel then. Thanks very much for the info!

Do you wear a neck brace when driving?
