Just curious how many out there are running 340 engines in there e bodies?
I have 3 1 in A66 , 1 in TA , Chrysler bought 200+ 340 engines into Australia for the E55 Valiant Charger the engine number is stamped on the shoulder above the starter motor the areas where Dodge normally stamped the no are left blank most castings were 69 mine is stamped E55 3.31 023 number 23 with 3.31 ,I think the stroke was shown as they were for Bathurst racing

340 Stroked to 355 Ci X block makes over 600hp ALL of my Cuda are using 340's for power. (I am fortunate enough to have 3)

I have a factory original 340 in my Cuda for now building a 408 with W2 closed chamber heads and injection. Dracaar, do you have some engine build specs to share on those 600hp engines please? im looking at hitting similar numbers and am curious on what you have done, I know its pretty easy now days but just curious. Any pitfalls to say away from?
