An FE5 Red Challenger T/A (JH23J0B296662) sold at Mecum Kissimmee 2026 for $143,000 on Friday, January 16th, 2026.
This was a well-optioned T/A with the extremely, rare A44 Louvers & H5X9 Houndstooth Interior, A62 Rally Instruments, C16 Console, D21 4-Speed, G36 Dual Racing Mirrors, and R35 AM/FM Radio.
Unfortunately, it has a TA block out of a different T/A or AAR (Stamped 0B2????4). I hope the buyer was aware of the NOM as there was no indication it was not a matching-numbers engine.
The car presented very well but had a stripe problem requiring replacing the stripes (no cutouts at all for the G36 Dual Racing Mirrors).
I have never seen the stripe issue before. That is a hard mistake to make but may be due to using stripes marked for mirror cutouts and failing to do so.
