I was told about this tv movie from '71 called "Congratulations it's a boy" and was told it had a Butterscotch Challenger convertible in it so of course I had to investigate. Bill Bixby stars and there are a couple of others you'll recognize but I'm sure we will find the car to be the star.
I find it interesting because it looks to be very much like mine probably looked when new except for the black trim. I'm only guessing that it might even be a big block and I sure wish I could see the emblems on the fenders better. Anybody have any guesses as to what they are?

Can't get a good shot of those fender emblems. Top one probably is the Challenger emblem, but the bottom one is a question. Some good cruising near the end of the movie.

I wonder if the N code non rallye hood cars had the engine call-out on the fender?

I think that its two words, I saw the film and you never get a good look at it but, it looks like the top word is Challenger and I cant even guess at the other one
this is just my 2 cents

Yep: It should read Challenger on top and 383 four barrel on the bottom.

There is a low budget exploitation flick from 1973 called "Group Marriage" that features a '71 Challenger convertible with '72 grille and taillights. Car has a flat hood but rear valance has dual exhaust cutouts. Car has several minutes of screen time. You can watch it for free on YouTube.

Kool stuff man, thanks! Didn't a '71 get the '72 treatment for one of the Brady Bunch cars too? Or am I thinking of this car which is still around I believe.
