Mystery Part from Dash - Please help ID

1970 Challenger Convertible. I think it's from the Dash Assembly, but not really sure after 35 years.

Any help appreciated.

I've got the dash out of a Cuda at the moment and can't see anything like that.

I recently redid my dash and heater box in my 71 Barracuda and I don't remember anything like that.

Hey doubleyellow; how's that Y 1 Challenger convertible of yours coming along?
Have not seen anything in a Challenger that looks like that.
When I removed the lower part of my quarter panel for a patch, I found a windshield clip that was from m old 69 Camaro I once owned.
