Reinstalled an Edlebrock carb on a '72 Charger 440 and broke the little clip at the end of the accelerator cable, one in pic is very similar. The clip slips on the ball end of the accelerator and then slides onto a small shaft on the carb throttle and is secured with a cotter pin. I've searched online and cannot find this particular clip.
Please help. Thanks clip.jpg

Stev-O, if I'm reading your post correctly, you're looking for the U-shaped clip at the left end of the cable shown in the pic below. Is that correct?

Assuming you locate one, how would you install the new clip on the old cable? You would have to remove the ball end from the old cable, slip the new clip on the cable, then swage a new ball back on the end of the cable. Have you got the tool to do that with?

As to your question, I don't know where you'd locate just the clip.

I think you'd be better off buying a new accelerator cable.

Hi...yes, need just the clip as it literally broke in half when I was trying to reinstall. The U-shaped clip just slips onto the cable, the notch is not visible in the pic above. I dont have a problem buying a cable as long as the clip comes with, the cables online that I saw did not show it. Where is the pic you posted from? Thank you for your help.
