So i have been a hot rodder since i was a 13 - 14 year old I am now 62
2 weeks ago i came across a deal I could not pass up a 1972 challenger with a rebuilt 440 and a 4 spd sure grip rear end the car is on a rotissorie (i know its spelled wrong) the car is completely taken apart and lots of work has been done floors truck quarters etc.
So I bought it (no kitchen pass required )
I already own a
62 dodge custom 880 2dr hard top that was going to have a 413 dual quads which i have
1953 chevy 3/4 ton tilt bed chevy with a small block
1964 chevy 1/2 ton with 65 327 auto dropped all around with all upgraded everything this ended up being a ground up due to a rusted out frame

So my plan is sell everything i need to build the challenger cause i always wanted one
hence no kitchen pass from the wife cause i am already spending spent money
my grand kids love the car and i am looking forward to this one

Welcome "Popsrods55" from SoCal, that '72 Chally sounds like a great buy. You've been a hotrodder since you were 13, so have I, however you at 62 are still young and have plenty of time to put that Dodge together and on the road. I am 70 at this time and still feel young. My ride is a '70 Challenger, that I've owned for 44 years, and is a first day issue car 8/18/69. An SE trimmed vehicle w/ the venerable SL6. More than enuff car for me now. Thanks, Al

Welcome Popsrods55 from New Jersey. I feel like I'm in great company.
I am turning 65 this year (can't believe it) and have owned my 70 Challenger A66 vert since 1979. I feel great!
I pulled the car out of storage last year after finally retiring to have time to work on it. Car was stored since 1984.
Great mix of younger and "seasoned" e body owners here who are very knowledgable.
How about some pix of the other cars!
