Hi all. I recently acquired a 1971 383 auto RT project. It was a totally unexpected thing, but it came in the form of a trade. I think I did pretty good and of course now I have another project. It needs alot but I think I am up for the Challenge. I'm sure over time I will need lots of info and parts, but this should be a fairly slow build, even though I have already begun patching some of the smaller rust holes!

Thanx for the welcome guys. At the moment it came with doors, fenders, hood, diff/axles, k-member/lca's, dash frame, grill-minus inserts, front valance, new torsion crossmember. The fellow had to dig through his storage and I will be going back for seats, trim, door/window hardware, headlight bezels etc. For the most part it will be "fairly"complete. It needs floors, quarters, wheel houses and some small patch work in a couple spots on the rails.

Yup, in very nice condition. A friend of mine has a Galen book and we looked it up. Not too many RT's in '71 and I think only 401 came to Canada. Cool stuff. Too bad the drive train is long gone though!

Neat car! I wonder what the "C" stands for, Canada maybe? Haven't seen the V5X very much and the car is nicely appointed otherwise.

This is what came up on My Mopar decoder. Yes it appears C is for Canada. According to the build sheet it didn't come with a radio. I don't know which wheels either because that spot is missing.
