New member here looking for guidance on my 1970 Cuda

This must be a y05 car. build to us spec.
The original owner specifically ordered these options.
Did you get a chance to ask the original owner that?

I know he did but that was relayed from his wife who sold me the car. The man passed away years ago and it has been sitting in her garage since then. But he special ordered this car for his graduation present to himself. It had every registration receipt, insurance renewal, and believe this!!!!! Gas receipts from the same gas station for all these years!!!!

Hello everyone. I have decided to keep it all stock and find a project car to put my big motor in. I had a picture up but It went away somehow. I will post more pics in a few. Thank you for all your input.

Rick
Excellent choice  .
There are not that many original and dry cars like that to be found anymore.
Clean it up, do any necessary maintenance and drive it.

Wow! That is one nice fender tag! I can't quite read the two codes by the left screw. What are they?
that really has some cool options on it!

One is N95, CA emmisions, and the other is H51, AC with front heater.

Oh...and yes I had decoded it already. Everything on the tag is still there except for the side molding that came off.

Incredible find! I would rather have a 100% orig ride than a 100 point show car!
Detail it to the max and be proud!!!!

Beautiful car and I believe a good decision. These cars are really amazing from the factory.

PLEASE!!!!! Don't mess with it! When I saw the white,if it's supposed to be, ask yourself, when is the last time you have seen this? Incredible find!PM if you want to sell. Thanks , Mark That is way cool. So I amend, went to the second page, and, it is ev. Awesome!

No...It is decided that I'm keeping it all original. I just bought all new parts to make it safe to drive. All new stock brakes, front end suspension rebuild with Moog parts (The only mod is the Moog offset bushings to help with positive caster), I'm having the power steering box rebuilt and re-installed, Power steering pump will be rebuilt because it is leaking, the motor will be rebuilt to stock specs, the 4 speed will be gone through and syncros replaced, and I'm going to replace the worn carpet. Other than that it will be just like you see in the pics. Hopefully a good buff and shine will bring the paint back. I like the way it looks!

It might be the original carb but I don't think it is the original mainfold.

I might have missed it in your earlier post, did you say how many miles?

I ordered all the parts that I could think of at this time to get her back on the road. The motor is going to the machine shop tomorrow for an inspection and freshen up service. This will most likely be a rebuild due to the age and the miles on the car but it will be wonderful!

motor stripped and ready.
