Hi I'm new to this forum, my name is Steve Blair and I own a 71 Barracuda that I've had for 30 or more years. It was a wreck I bought from a junk yard in Nevada thinking the car was in fairly decent shape which it wasn't. One mistake I probable made was taking a pretty original car (a 383 Automatic Tored Grand Coupe with 4 wheel drum brakes) and turning it into a car I really wanted (a stroked 440, Dana 60 with 4:10 gears, 4 wheel disc brakes in Plum Crazy). This project has been way more than I expected but I plan on having a running, driving car this spring. My grand daughters wanted a Purple car and I always liked Plum Crazy so I thought what the heck, Plumb Crazy it is! (I think I was the crazy one). I had a 70 GTX 440 4 speed car in high school (best car I ever owned) so I'm a Mopar guy through and through!
