Hi all, glad to check in here. Longtime 340 fan. Typical guy, I’d rather talk about my motor than myself. So here goes:

Mine is originally a ‘73 block, cross-over oiling done old days by Larry Atherton’s shop in LA, X-heads port/polish by Bob Mullen. I had all machining/decking and balance etc. done by Edwards Engines Albuquerque NM. Assembly by me. I did a recent freshen up with new bearings, rebuilt 273 adj. rockers, and new Lunati solid cam with EDM lifters. Cam is 235/243 @ .050 with 526/546 lift. LD340 intake w/ big Thermoquad I rebuilt, headers, MSD distr./ign.
My 26th year with this motor. Yikes!
