offset upper control arm bushings

Removing upper control arm bushings and replacing anybody ever use the offset ones and why, and if I would what position do you put them in any advice rubber or polygraphite I think they only come in rubber thank you guys for all the posts and answers it helps a ton Gary

The reason or these bushings is to help correct caster. The upper control arms are effectively to short to get a good alignment. By installing offset bushings at the maximum offset to the outside of the control arm gives up to 2 more degrees of caster adjustment which is critical for high speed stability. It also offers more camber adjustment which affects cornering and tire wear. Generally for maximum effectiveness and smoother ride you would use rubber lower control arm bushings and poly upper bushings. Be sure to use lots of poly grease on the uppers to help to eliminate the dreaded front end "squeak".
