Power Windows?

I'm looking at buying a 1970 challenger and I noticed that it has power windows. I am curious if any challenger could have been ordered with PW, or if it was a part of a package like an SE or something. The car isn't badged as anything but who knows what it once was badged as. Anyone know this answer?

Any Challenger could have the power window option. What are the first 5 digits of the VIN?

Welcome. One of the nice things about Mopars in the muscle car era was that you could order just about anything you wanted on just about any model or trim level.

After having a closer loo. the PW may have been a factory install, but the door panels are not correct. Looks like the switches were put where the window crank was.

The rear panels have the switches in the same place as the crank. The door panels have them in a different location than the cranks. They are low. If you have the door closed you have to operate the window switches by feel.

The back of the factory door panels should have the markings for the both the window cranks or the p/w switches.
