Question about VIN no.

[70 Challenger R/T]

Trying to validate this; I've been told there is a partial VIN no stamped along the vertical side of the trunk opening (driver' side, underneath the weather stripping) on all 70-74 e body cars?? (see pic). This is in addition to the cowl/rad support yada yada stampings. True?

on B bodies yes , never seen it on an E body
