Hi all, tried bleeding my front disc brakes today. Have very bad pedal, have to pump it 5 or 6 times to stop, removed MC lid and put my friend in car and told him to pump brake , noticed air squirting up through brake fluid in MC. Is this normal. I put on lid and pumped up pedal, opened bleed nipple , solid fluid coming out both fronts. No air . Also no decent brake pedal, same as it was before . Any help please.

From your description you have a bad master cylinder. Lack of brake pressure will only be two things - air is trapped somewhere or the master is not making the brake pressure.

Brake fluid stream strong or weak? Read the below.
