HELLO ALL GOT THE MOTOR AN ROTATING ASSEMBLY BACK LAST MONDAY AN STILL WAITING TO GET THE NEW VALVES FOR THE THE HEADS BUT NEED TO LOCATE A NEW OR USED REAR MAIN CAP THE OLD ONE GOT DAMAGE ....

Engine year and size would help.
FYI the block and the rest of the mains will need to go to a machine shop to be line honed/bored.

Hopefully he means the rear main seal housing.

yes its a 72 340 block when the oi; pump housing broke an crack the the main cap all the other caps are all ok

If you replace any of the caps the block needs to be line bored.
