Stalling Issues

I have a starting problem now since winter storage. 340 with Holley 650. Car starts but have to keep revs up to keep running ?? Possible float stuck in Carb ??

coul dbe a stuck float or dirt in the needle & seat holding the inlet valve open , you shoul dbe able to see ti flooding , often just tapping on the carb will loosen it , could be a number of other things too

If it not the carb then you a vac. leak.....

Check the gap in the dist too , it should be .008 between the pick up & reluctor

Well. Carb bowl was full of pipe thread sealant from double pumper line. Problem solved. Thanks !

HOLLEY USES A flare fitting to seal the fuel line so teflon is not nessisary & will cause problems as you discovered
