Just recevied elect converison fron year 1 having trouble gettingfactory tacho working put points dizzy back in and tacho works ? seems to work backwards any suggestions Cheers

The best thing to do would be to have the tach converted to have all new modern internals at Redline Gauge Works, then it will work perfectly with any type of ignition system. The conversion is $200 and it will have a full 2 year warranty, give em a call at (661) 259-8891

I have installed a couple of these, pretty easy, they come with good instructions, and only $75 : http://rt-eng.com/rte/index.php/RTE_67-74_Tach_kit

They also have one with a built in calibrator, $98: http://rt-eng.com/rte/index.php/67-74_Tach_Board_with_Calibrator_Built_In

Also, the tach runs off a white wire from the bulkhead connector to the coil, make sure the wire is on the correct side.
